We're all part of what could be termed, "the cosmic generation" - all us alive today.

A generation used to mean all those living in one lifetime's worth of years, and that's how I'm using it. After all, some use it as the breeding leap-frogging of some family groups, which can be perilously close together, but should ideally be at least forty years apart.

The world, as well as the generations, are shrinking in scope. The rapid dissemination of information, of technology, and the homogenization of cultures ( or lack of  ), means that we're all whizzes at understanding and at reaching one another.

This alone should qualify us all as cosmic beings.

Being cosmic has never been so easy.

We're all privy to the private thoughts of world-class gurus in every field, and we're supposedly summoning the cosmic forces and ordering our own menusful of great things via mental imagery, following the every move of world leaders, and continuously seeking out new and better ways - all at the touch of a finger - of living.

We make the most of ourselves, learn fitness and beauty secrets, discover inner worlds, we all create something fabulous at will, via music or art machinery, and frankly, we're hipper than we all have a right to be.
